The Twenty Seventh Day: Uploading random drawings.

Ok here are some drawings I managed to do during the quarter. There aren't any stories behind them, they are just random characters. Now that I have more time on my hands I might go back and re-draw some of them and work more on the stories behind them. This is a very short post as I am just trying to post up the work I was able to draw when not dealing with crazy classes and a shit ton of school work.

The Twenty Sixth Day:SORRY FOR NOT POSTING!!!!!!!!

Hey readers, I know I haven't posted in a couple months and I wanted to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about my blog or anything, I simple got overwhelmed with school work. However school is over for this quarter so I finally have time to update, and my new quarter coming up will be less hectic (I hope). I am going to update at every weekend I PROMISE. If however classes become crazy I will at least let my readers know that I will be gone for a while. So now that everthing is explained, let me update whats been going on with my life.

First, school, classes were fun and a bit crazy. I had two different drawing classes and a photoshop class, I also had math but I dropped that because I had no idea what the fuck the teacher was trying to teach, we had a two hour class and she tried to teach four chapters in that amount of time. Also, she was Indian, and I totally have nothing against them, but her accent was sooo thick I had trouble understanding certain words. I finally got so frustrated that I dropped it. My drawing anatomy class was interesting, I never cared for the teacher though because he thought that drawing comic books was foolish or taboo. But I did learn some important things in his class. My visual indication class was very very fun, I learned alot of important things and I believe it improved my own drawings quite a bit. Photoshop was fun, but I just didn't really get into it. I like computers but I prefer to do my work on paper, if I ever use photoshop it would be to color things not making them.

Relationship wise, my life was pretty crazy. I attempted to go back with my ex boyfriend, Jeremy and it went well for about two days but then old stuff started happening again. My friend Mindy said I was crazy for doing it and she was right ha ha. After that though I found or thought I found the perfect man. His name was Kurt and I believed he was the one for me. He was punk, with a little green mo hawk and eyeliner and painted fingernails. ANYWAY, after spending an amazing two weeks together, were we spent all our time together and held hands and made out EVERYWHERE, he tells me "hes not ready for a relationship and we can be friends" of course, sooo after contemplating suicide I picked my self up (yes I realize it was only two weeks but I latched on too quickly and along with other stressors I kinda had a slight maybe kinda nervous breakdown). BUT after almost giving up hope I went onto the dating site I use (okcupid.com) and received a message from a guy named Zachariah Davis. Now from first looks he didn't look like my type but I don't know why something just compelled me to reply. After speaking for 3 hours online I knew something was different about this boy, and we met the next day at school HE GOES TO MY SCHOOL!!!!! We talked in the library then went to his dorm for lunch and both said almost at the same time "Let's be boyfriends!!" I could probably spend the rest of the night talking about him and how hes everything I've wanted and looked for but I'll try to be quick. Stheno, Euryale, Medusa--The Three Gorgons

This is one of the three gorgons in the new story. This is Medusa, who is the queen of the gorgons. She cursed Oberon's wife Titania with slow petrification. She did this because she is jealous of Titania's immortality. Medusa and her sisters, Stheno and Euryale (who are immortal) are searching for a way to make Medusa immortal. Oberon sends Nathan and Rodrick to defeat the gorgons and the gorgons believe the weapons the boys wield are the key to getting what they seek.

This is Euryale, whos name means "farspringer" so I made her tail longer, and her wings more aerodynamic, so she can travel fast and gain distance. I also made her snake hair longer, and thicker, unlike Medusa's short thin "viper" like hair.

This is the third sister, Stheno, whos name means "the mighty". So I made her more power orientated. She has no wings, and a shorter, fatter tail, focusing more on strength than speed. She also has long talon like finger nails. Her hair is also for long, thick boa constrictor like snakes.

Nathan and Rodrick Story

So these two boys are Nathan (the left), and Rodrick (the right), are on a vacation in Ireland when they are transported to the mythical fairie underworld. While hiking they discover a giant rock with a large hole going right through it. Now ancient fairy lore states that a stone with a hole in it allows you to see into the fairy world. The guys, knowing this, thinking it would be funny to crawl through the rock and see what happens. Much to there suprise they actually crawl into the realm of fairie. Once there they try to leave but the rock is destroyed by a large explosion. The boys run, hearing a loud sound behind them, they attempt to look back, but a voice screaming not to look back, they keep running and fall in a hole, which close behind them. After awaking they are informed by a tall, antlered man that they are in the palace of Oberon, king of the fairies. He then reveales that he himself is Oberon. The boys, a bit shocked ask what was chasing them, and are told it was a gorgon, one of three in fact. Oberon then tells the boys that he is charging them with defeating the gorgons, and by doing so he will allow them to go home. He then gives the guys four mythical weapons. Nathan wields the legendary "Sword in the Stone" and a pair of magical gauntlets. Rodick wields the sword Excalibur and the hammer of Thor,  Mjölnir. Oberon tells the boys the weapons powers will allow them to look at the monsters and tells them where to find them. After fully realizing the situation they are in, the boys start walking only to meet a "mysterious stranger", she tells the guys why Oberon wants the gorgons destroyed. It turns out the gorgons cursed his wife, Titania queen of the fairies, with slow petrification. Instead of the instant "turning to stone" that most of the gorgons use to kill their enemies, Titania is slowy being turned to stone. The reason for this, the stranger says, is because Medusa, the queen of the gorgons, is jealous of Titania's immortality. The stranger also reveals that the gorgons are searching for a way to make Medusa immortal, since she, unlike her sisters Stheno and Euryale, is merely mortal. After stating this information, the stranger runs off. Now Nathan and Rodrick know why they must defeat the gorgons, the only question left is, how?

The Twenty Fifth Day: Evil Assassin

Ok so first off, sorry for not posting recently, I have more drawing classes this quarter so I'm busier. But I have managed to get more of my own drawings done.

So in the story about Lee, the assassin who gets her abilites from music, she also has compitition from another runner. A mysterious assassin known only as "Z". Z is jealous of Lee's technology and abilities, and wants them for her own. Her plan is to kill Lee, and copy the technology into her body. In an attempt to kill Lee, Z kidnaps Lady Blade to use as bait. Lee tracks her down, and manages to defeat Z, but not before learning that Z is actually a clone of Lee, however the procedure was botched, creating a "not complete" version. Hence why Z is out to destroy Lee, to prove she is the better one.

The Twenty Fourth Day: Assasin

So I was walking home from the bus stop a couple of days ago, when I thought up the greatest idea for a story. I knew I wanted to do a story about an assasin, but I couldn't figure out what to do. Then suddenly it hit me. The assasin has many different abilities, but she receives these abilities from listening to different songs. So if she wanted martial arts abilities, she would listen to a fast paced, action type song. If she needed stealth skills, she would listen to a slow paced, quiet song. All of her songs are sung by her boss, Lady Blade, a popular singer.

So the main character is Lee, is a "runner", runners do many jobs, bounty hunter, assassin, security guard, etc. She works with her close friend Lady Blade, a popular singer in the futuristic city of Pandora. Lee is the only runner of her kind because she gets all of her abilites from listening to music. She has two mp3 devices surgically implanted in her body, and mini speakers are inside her ears. Lady Blade sings all of the songs that Lee listens too.

The Twenty Third Day: Evil Mermaids

 

So these are the evil mermaids, the Reevers, that assist Odette in taking over the castle. They are smaller in size than typical mermaids, and not as sophisticated. Also they don't use a normal language, they use shrieks and grunts to communicate. They are extremely violent also, ripping enemies to shreds in the water. No one can figure out how Odette got them to follow her seeing as how they normally kill any outsiders.

Now a little more on the story. Odette is actually Minerva and Eliza'a sister, banished when they were very young for consorting with dark forces and attempting to overthrow the kingdom. The Queen used her magic to erase the memory of Odette from the girls memory hence why they don't remember her. Odette having been banished, lives as an outcast for years, devolping her magic and learning dark arts. Using this, she took control over many clans of Reevers living in the deep depths of the ocean. She then exacts her revenge, launching an attack on the palace. Using the Reevers to create chaos, she makes her way to the palace, and cold heartedly kills her mother. Minerva and Eliza witness this, and knowing they cannot win, flee the palace and the city. Still in shock over their mothers death, they know they must figure out a way to help save the city and take over the palace, probably killing Odette in the process.
